The Miracles of Naju Church

Julia Kim, a devout Catholic from Naju, South Korea, has been associated with countless miracles over the past few decades. Among the most remarkable of these miracles are those related to the Eucharist. In this post, we will explore some of the incredible Eucharistic miracles associated with Julia Kim and show pictures of various other miracles that have taken place at the Naju Church. It's important to note that while these miracles have been widely reported and documented, there are also disputed aspects of her life and experiences.

Who is Julia Kim?

Julia Kim, also known as Julia Youn or Julia Immaculate Heart, is a Korean Catholic mystic who has reported numerous Eucharistic miracles. According to Kim, she began receiving visions and messages from Jesus and the Virgin Mary in the early 1980s. Since then, she has had many mystical experiences, including stigmata, ecstasies, and the ability to read souls. However, it is her Eucharistic miracles that have garnered the most attention.

Matthew 26:26 - While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.”

Luke 22:19 - And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.”

John 6:51 - 58 - I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.” 52 Then the Jews began to argue sharply among themselves, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” 53 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day. 55 For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. 56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them. 57 Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me. 58 This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your ancestors ate manna and died, but whoever feeds on this bread will live forever

Eucharistic Miracles

Though Kim's first reported Eucharistic miracle occurred in 1985, there have been over 33 documented Eucharistic Miracles that have taken place at Naju. According to her account, she was praying in front of the Blessed Sacrament when she noticed a drop of blood on the Host. She reported this to her priest, who decided to have the Host tested. The results of the test reportedly showed that the drop of blood was human blood, and that the Host had transformed into a piece of human flesh. She also received a Host that fell out of thin air and fell at the feet of a statue of the Virgin Mary during a prayer gathering. The Host proceeded to turn into the real Flesh and Blood of Jesus Christ in her mouth.

John 6:32 - Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of God is the bread that comes down from heaven and gives life to the world. 34 “Sir,” they said, “always give us this bread. 35 Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty."

Since that first incident, Kim has reported numerous Eucharistic miracles, many of which have been documented and tested. In 1995, another Host that Kim received during Mass reportedly began to bleed and transform into flesh in her mouth. The Host was taken to a hospital for testing, and the results showed that the substance was indeed human flesh and blood. This was confirmed by the bishop of the diocese, who held a public investigation into the event.

John 13:18 - I am not referring to all of you; I know those I have chosen. But this is to fulfill this passage of Scripture: ‘He who shared my bread has turned against me.’ 19 “I am telling you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe that I am who I am. 20 Very truly I tell you, whoever accepts anyone I send accepts me; and whoever accepts me accepts the one who sent me.”

Kim has also reported Eucharistic miracles in which the Host turned into flesh and blood in her hands or in the hands of those around her. In 1999, a priest reportedly saw a Host in her hands turn into a piece of flesh. The priest took the flesh to be tested, and it was found to be human heart tissue. This was also investigated and confirmed by the local bishop.

1 Corinthians 5:8 - Therefore let us keep the Festival, not with the old bread leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

While there are some who have questioned the veracity of Kim's claims, there are many who believe in the authenticity of her Eucharistic miracles. The Catholic Church has not officially recognized any of Kim's miracles, but her local bishop has investigated and confirmed several of them. Regardless of one's personal beliefs, Kim's reported experiences have drawn attention to the Eucharist and its significance in Catholic theology.

Julia Kim's reported Eucharistic miracles have generated much interest and controversy within the Catholic community. While some have dismissed her claims, others believe that her experiences are genuine and attest to the miraculous nature of the Eucharist. Regardless of where one falls on this spectrum, Kim's story serves as a reminder of the power of faith and the significance of the Eucharist in Catholic tradition.
